<div dir="auto">The last two summer signings made, so far, by UD Almería for this 2023/24 season also made their UD Almería debut against Real Madrid CF; Lusitanian goalkeeper <strong>Maximiano</strong>, started, while <strong>Fernando</strong> and <strong>Mariño</strong> remained on the bench; while sub <strong>Koné</strong>, a Malian striker, came on in the second half (61st minute) to reinforce the attack. </div>

<div dir="auto">The eight new recruits have already officially dressed in red and white jerseys. <strong>Édgar</strong>, <strong>Baba</strong> and <strong>Luis Suárez</strong> were handed out starting spots on Matchday 1 against Rayo Vallecano, while <strong>Arribas</strong>, <strong>Pubill</strong> and <strong>Dion Lopy</strong> also played during the league  opener. </div>
