Martínez Valero and Vallecas will be the alternative stadiums of Almería
The club had to arrange other pitches in which to play home fixtures on the off chance of a local or regional lockdown due to the coronavirus pandemic
Elche CF’s Martínez Valero stadium and Rayo Vallecano de Madrid’s Vallecas stadium, will be, in that order, the alternative football pitches in which Almería would play their official home games in the event of either a local (Almeria) or regional (Andalusia) lockdown due to coronavirus outbreaks in Spain.
It is a new measure adopted within the health and safety protocol by which all professional football clubs in First and Second Division in Spain had to pick out ‘substitute’ stadiums in other regions on the off chance that all of the above-mentioned unfortunately happened. After making alternative arrangements, UD Almería will count on the Elche (Comunitat Valenciana) and Rayo Vallecano de Madrid’s stadiums to play La Liga home fixtures in compliance with these regulations.
Moreover, Elche CF came to an agreement with UD Almería to use the Juegos Mediterraneos Stadium if strictly necessary.
