María Flores arrives to build Almeria Women’s rock-solid defence

The 24-year-old centre-back played in the United States for three years

Malaga-born María Flores Tomé, 24 years old, is the new signing for the Almería Women first- team. She moves from Córdoba CF, a team that competed in the Women First Division B, the current ‘Reto Iberdrola’. Previously, she played for other clubs in the same category and from 2016 to 2019, the defender did so in the United States, gaining scholarships from different Universities.

The centre-back is ready to burst onto the scene and reinforce Carlos Hinojo's team. ‘Signing for UD Almería is a great opportunity to continue overcoming challenges,’ she exclaimed, adding that ‘I’m pretty sure that both the club and I are going to make the most of this stage.’
