Marcos Peña returns from Spain U19 training camp

The Almería-born UD Almería 'B' player has joined up with the national team for 3 days as they are preparing their next participation in the European Championship that will be held in Northern Ireland in July 2024

UD Almería 'B' player Marcos Peña, who since the arrival of head coach Pepe Mel has move up from the 'B' team to regular first-team training -making his debut in LaLiga EA Sports-, has experienced another key moment in his footballing career. The Almeria-born player has been participating in the Spain U19 training camp. 

Marcos Peña was called up by national coach José Lana along with another 23 players to perform training at the El Albir facilities, located in the Alicante-based town of Alfaz de Pi, focused on preparing Spain for the European Championship to be held in July 2024 in Northern Ireland. 

The Spaniards were placed in Group B along with DenmarkTurkey and France. Since last Monday, the Spain U19s squad have been put through their paces in several training sessions and a training game to end this short stage in which the under-19s national coach has been able to get to know many of these players better, including Marcos Peña.
