Marciano receives last-minute international duty call

UD Almería 'B' centre-forward Marciano has also been called up to the Guinea Bissau squad in this third international break so there are a total of 5 UD Almería first team players who are to join up with their respective national teams: Mendes (Guinea Bissau), César Montes (Mexico), Baba (Ghana) and Lopy (Senegal).
The first four footballers had previously been called up for international duty, while Marciano received his international call-up later. All of them will play a couple of games.
Montes will be on action wearing the Mexican kit on 17th and 21st November against Honduras with qualification for the Copa América at stake.
As for the Africans, they are now preparing for the Africa Cup that takes place in January and February. Lopy will play for Senegal against Sudan on 18th November and Togo on 21st November. Meanwhile, Baba, called up to the Ghana squad will be taking on Madagascar and Comoros on 17th and 21st November respectively. Finally, Mendes and Marciano, who is part of the Guinea Bissau team will have as opponents Burkina Faso on 17th November and Djibouti on 20th November.
As a result and taking into account the long journeys to be made, they will not arrive in Almería until 22nd November, three days before playing against Getafe CF on Saturday 25th November when la LaLiga EA Sports resumes.
