The Rojiblanco footballer once again started as in the rest of the matches of these Olympic Games, except when he was injured, as in the second match of the group stage against the Dominican Republic. National coach Santi Denia decided to give him rest and not force him with everything that was left ahead.
The grand Olympic Games football final takes place on Friday, 9th August in the 'City of Light' (kick-off 6pm Spanish Time).
