Marc Pubill will fight for medals at Olympic Games in Paris

The Spanish team, with the Rojiblanco as the starter beat Japan 0-3 to qualify for the semi-finals, which will be played on Monday against Morocco

UD Almería player Marc Pubill will fight for medals at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games with the Spanish team after the comprehensive victory over Japan (0-3) in the quarter-finals of the tournament. On Monday, 5th August, Spain will face Morocco in the semi-finals, which will decide whether they will fight for gold or bronze. The right-back of the national team and UD Almería is playing a leading role in Paris 2024. 

The 21-year-old player started the opening match against Uzbekistan and also scored the first Spanish goal. Against the Dominican Republic, on Matchday 2 of group C, he did not participate due to some muscle discomfort. In the third game against Egypt, he played the first period after suffering from his muscle issue. 

Spain qualified for the quarter-finals as second in the Group and in this knockout round they defeated Japan with Marc Pubill starting again and playing all 90 minutes.
