The Zaragoza-born, Spain Under-21s international player, signs on loan from Villarreal with an option to buy

Manu Morlanes, a 21-year-old midfielder, and highly sought-after over the course of this summer transfer window, becomes a new UD Almería player for this 2020/21 season, in which he will wear the red and white striped jersey on loan from Villarreal CF. In addition, the deal includes an option to buy the player at the end of the campaign.

Morlanes has shown prowess in his ability to play across all midfield positions and make a difference and is characterised by being a talented player with brilliant tactical awareness. Despite his young age, he has played for the Villarreal first-team competing in both the top-level football league in Spain and the Europa League, as well as in Copa del Rey.

Manuel Morlanes Ariño was born on 12th January, 1999 in Zaragoza and the budding footballer began his football career at grassroots level within his hometown club. In the past 2012/13 season he was signed by the Villarreal Academy where he has gone through different sides until reaching the first-team. Now, he will definitely add considerable quality to Almeria’s midfield.
