Málaga CF will be one of UD Almería's first pre-season adversaries

Before the Rojiblancos take on the Malaguistas in Marbella on 31st July, they will have to play a friendly against Águilas FC on 25th July

Tick-tock! The UD Almeria pre-season friendlies are just around the corner! The team have their pre-season schedule nearly ready with an eye to start gearing up ahead of the 2021/22 season that begins for the Rojiblancos against FC Cartagena on Monday, 16 August (kick-off 10 p.m. Spain Time).

First, the Indalicos will play a friendly versus Murcia-based side Aguilas FC who compete in fourth-tier Segunda Division RFEF and whose president is Alfonso García, in addition to having several former Rojiblancos within the squad such as Kalu Uche, Chumbi or Molo, who is now a coach. The friendly game will be played at the El Rubial ground on 25 July (kick-off 7 p.m. Spain Time).

The idea is to face 6 pre-season friendlies. Most of them will take place over the Marbella training camp that is going to take place from 29 July to 8 August at The Westin La Quinta Golf Resort & Spa located in Benahavís. The first of these upcoming friendlies is going to be played versus Malaga FC on Saturday, 31 July at the Marbella Football Center (kick-off 7 p.m. Spain Time), where the Rojiblancos are going to play three more matches on 1/4/7 or 8 August.

The matches have already been arranged against top flight and second tier LaLiga adversaries, however the corresponding contracts have yet to be signed to make them official. Of course, these pre-season games will provide UD Almeria with excellent high-quality preparation ahead of next season.
