UD Almería resume training turning their attention to Friday's game vs. CD Tenerife. This Wednesday and Thursday, training sessions in the stadium

The UD Almería players have resumed training turning their attention to Friday’s match (Matchday 7) against CD Tenerife at Juegos Mediterráneos. After two days away from the grass, the squad members trained at the Juegos Mediterraneos Stadium, where they will follow instructions during training again this Wednesday and Thursday. Winter grass is being planted at the Anexo so the training base cannot be used.

The first preparation of the week has been rather intense for the Rojiblancos who worked on circuit workouts, rondos and finishing drills to help players improve their ability to score in a variety of different situations and positions. ... In addition, they took some time to recreate game situations and develop tactical awareness in the team towards Friday’s fixture.

It has been a little while but two players have stepped on the Mediterraneo field again. Keeper Makaridze joined the group, while Carriço started to work on the pitch alone preparing for return to play. Aitor Buñuel was exercising along with the physiotherapist in the process of recovering from the knee sprain he suffered in Ponferrada, and Akieme is out of action trying to reduce muscle soreness.
