Luka Romero: 'We want to bring joy to the fans; they deserve it'

The AC Milan loanee faces his last game as a UD Almería player. The Argentinian right-winger highlights: 'I came here to get minutes in my legs and I only have words of gratitude for the Club, the fans and my team-mates'

UD Almería right-winger Luka Romero has looked ahead to the final LaLiga match with the Rojiblancos' shirt, which will be played against also already-relegated Cádiz CF.

The Argentinean footballer commented: 'We face the match ready to bring joy to the fans because they deserve it for their unrivalled support throughout the season.' He also added: 'We'll go all out to compete and be the best version of ourselves to win. It's the least we can do in front of our fans.'

The 19-year-old player, who is on loan from AC Milan, has highlighted that his commitment to the Club is total and stated: 'I felt comfortable in the last game. We played a great match in Mallorca, although I didn't expect how they welcomed me, but these are things about football and I was only thinking about the encounter, my team and nothing else.'

The Argentina native footballer made it clear that this clash against Cádiz CF is going to be special, since it will be his last wearing the UD Almería jersey: 'I'm very grateful to the Club and the fans, who welcomed me in a magnificent way. I came to Almería to gain game minutes and that's how it was. All this is what I take with me in addition to the great team-mates that I met since at all times, I had the support and help of them all,' said Luka Romero.

On the other hand, Romero acknowledged: 'My best memory is against Atlético de Madrid with that brace I scored, although I still have my last goal to meet... to achieve victory at home, above all, as I said, for the fans, because they've always been with us and we've been able to secure top-tier survival.'
