Luka and Radovanović arrive ready to help to achieve the goal

The two signings made so far in the January transfer window have been officially presented by UD Almería Managing Director Mohamed El Assy at the Powerful Horse Stadium press room

Luka Romero and Aleksandar Radovanović have been officially presented as new UD Almería players. The 19-year-old Spanish-Argentinian attacker moves on loan from Italian top-tier Serie A side AC Milan, while the Serbian central defender arrives as a free agent player after playing for the Belgian top-tier Jupiler Pro League side KV Kortrijk, signing for a season and a half as a Rojiblanco, as indicated by Club Managing Director Mohamed El Assy.

The UD Almería CEO welcomed the two new recruits, wished them the best of luck and mentioned that he hopes the pair can contribute to help UD Almeria achieve their objectives.

Both Radovanović and Luka, stated that they were fully determined to contribute as much as possible. The Spanish-Argentinian is not going to have adaptation problems. In fact, he was training at the beginning of his footballing career at RCD Mallorca Youth, U19 and 'B' teams before making the leap to Italian calcio. Furthermore, the right-winger has had Baba and Maximiano as team-mates before.

Luka is delighted to have signed for UD Almería and to return to Spain: 'I'm happy to return to the LaLiga again. I liked it when I played for RCD Mallorca. In Italy, everything is more difficult, here we play more and I'll try to do it well,' he commented. 'Spanish football suits my personality,' he added.

Luka can play in several positions and when asked which one he preferred, the Victoria de Durango native responded: 'Since I started my footballing career, they always put me on the right wing, but my natural position is midfielder. Anyway, I see myself operating on the right flank too.' He doesn't mind coming to the LaLiga bottom team and he stressed on that regard: 'I always try to enjoy when I'm on the pitch. I come from two or three teams that also have pressure and I'm really looking forward to it, which is the important thing.'

Radovanović, who also played in one of the Belgian mid-bottom table top-tier side, stressed: 'I was in a quite a complicated situation in Belgium, but the Spanish league is the best league in the world and it's a big leap, so I'll give it my all to help UD Almería.'

'What I can contribute is fighting spirit, blood and heart. Then, it'll depend on the head coach whatever he wants depending on the team's needs. More than a leader, I feel as a club player who gives everything on the pitch and who brings confidence to his team-mates,' explained the Serbian centre-back when describing himself as a footballer.
