The Colombian UD Almería striker picked up an unfortunate injury in the final minutes of the match against Granada CF and had to be taken by ambulance to a hospital

UD Almería centre-forward Luis Suárez has suffered a partial fibula fracture in his left leg, an injury that he picked up in the final minutes of the match played against Granada CF at the Power Horse Stadium.

The Colombian put his foot on the grass when finishing off a play in a 1v1 with an opponent. It all happened by chance and from the first moment, it was obvious that the injury looked serious. The gestures of pain of the Colombian striker spoke for themselves. The Granada CF defenders called for help so that the medical services in the dugout could assist him as soon as possible.

The footballer was treated on the pitch and immediately afterwards, the 25-year-old was taken on stretcher to the medical room. Then, he was taken by ambulance to the Vithas Virgen del Mar Hospital, where he underwent different tests. At the moment, his recovery time is unknown, although he is likely to be on the treatment table for around three months.
