Luis Suárez suspended for two games

The UD Almería striker has been banned for one match following his sending-off and another one after knocking over the VAR monitor screen on his way to the tunnel

UD Almería striker Luis Suárez has been banned for two games by the Spanish Football Federation disciplinary committee after being sent off with a straight red card in last Tuesday's match against Real Sociedad at the Reale Arena.

The RFEF disciplinary committee has suspended the Colombian for one match 'for a dangerous tackle in a 1v1 duel using excessive force,' and with another one for unsportsmanlike behaviour, since as the referee wrote down in the game card: 'once dismissed and before making his way down to the tunnel, he knocked over the VAR monitor screen.'
