Luis Suárez back in action three and a half months later

The Colombian striker is the big news in UD Almería's squad list for Sunday's game at the Vallecas Stadium. Gonzalo Melero has also been named in the squad list against Rayo Vallecano after serving his four-game suspension

Luis Suárez is the big news in UD Almería's squad list for Sunday's match against Rayo Vallecano at the Vallecas Stadium (KO 9pm Spanish Time/ Matchday 34/ LaLiga EA Sports). The Colombian striker returns to action three and a half months later following the serious injury he suffered. Gonzalo Melero is now available again after serving the four-game suspension imposed on him by the RFEF at the request of the Technical Committee of Referees for his statements at the conclusion of the match that UD Almería played against Real Madrid CF at the Santiago Bernabéu. The referee from that match will be in charge of the upcoming appointment in Vallecas.

The Rojiblancos, already mathematically relegated to the Segunda Division, will take their professional pride and will try to defeat Rayo Vallecano, who need to win to secure survival in the top tier of Spanish football.

For UD Almería, there is nothing else at stake, although the team is indebted to the loyal fans so fighting and giving everything in this final stretch is their goal.

The squad had a final training session, behind closed doors, at the Power Horse Stadium, where Pepe Mel has insisted on tactics and game strategy to complete the match plan with which he hopes to achieve the second victory of the season in a match that will be tremendously tough due to the opposition's need to guarantee safety and considering how the Vallecano fans root for their team.

Injured Radovanović and suspended Ramazani, Robertone and Jonathan Viera Will miss out.
