Luis Martins bolsters UD Almería 'B' ahead of league opener
The Portuguese right-back becomes the 12th summer signing, ready to debut against Recreativo de Huelva this Sunday
UD Almería 'B' have strengthened their ranks with the addition of 21-year-old Portuguese right-back Luis Martins, who joins from Gil Vicente FC. The defender is available for selection in Sunday's league opener on the Anexo pitch against Recreativo de Huelva.
Martins becomes the 12th reinforcement in what has been a busy summer transfer window for the youthful Rojiblancos. Head coach Alberto Lasarte welcomed the arrival, noting the squad needed fresh energy ahead of the 2025/26 campaign.
The former FC Porto and SC Braga youth product featured last season in Portugal’s Liga Revelação U23.
