Lucien Owona is successfully operated on his right knee
The rojiblanco centre-back returns from Vitoria to start his rehabilitation in Almería
Lucien Owona, the UD Almeria’s centre-back, has been successfully operated on his right knee injury. The operation was carried out by traumatologist Mikel Sánchez at the Vithas San José Hospital, in Vitoria last Thursday. Basically, the surgery was an arthroscopy, in which the surgeon washed the joint out.
The Cameroonian footballer has already returned from Vitoria (Basque Country) and will soon start rehabilitation in Almeria under the supervision of the medical services of the rojiblanco club, who will let him know how long it is likely to take to recover and what activities to avoid until he is fully recovered. Owona will be away from the pitch over the following 3 months.
