Marc Pubill: “We fight to move up to the top tier, that's why we come here every day"

The UD Almería right-back expressed his ambition for promotion and in addition, he spoke about the match against Dépor, highlighting: 'They're very good players; Yeremay, whom I know from the national team, is key for them.'

UD Almería right-back Marc Pubill, who is available for selection again after serving a one-game ban against Real Oviedo due to accumulation of yellow cards, caught up with UDA Radio to give his take on the current situation of the Indálicos. 'The weeks are long when you don't play. In the games that I can't play, I'm calm if things are going well because you enjoy watching your team-mates. However, if they don't go the way you want, you want to jump on the pitch and help as much as you can.'

The 21-year-old footballer told how he saw the team from his seat on Matchday 25 against the Carbayón team: 'It was a little difficult to get into the match, but once we head the game I guess we started to create danger, dominate with the ball and to whip in chances. In the end, we got a good point.'

'Everything changes from one day to the next, you have to always go to get the three points and when things get complicated, at least a draw because everything counts,' he added.

The Catalan spoke about next Sunday's test against Dépor at the Riazor Stadium: 'They're playing very well, they're very good players, especially in attack; So it'll be essential to boss the game and be 100% focused because they can hurt us on counter-attacks and in moments when they dominate possession.'

Finally, the Spain U21 international warned about one of the most outstanding footballers of the Galicia team, Yeremay, whom he knows very well from his time in the Rojilla national squad: 'He's a great player. I was with him in the under-21 team. He's one of the keys to Dépor's success and we'll have to stop him from scoring.'
