Lucas Robertone gets the all clear from Club's medical services

The Argentinean midfielder completed his first training session after undergoing surgery three months ago for a left shoulder dislocation. UD Almería switch attention to LaLiga Hypermotion resumption as trip to Córdoba beckons

The UD Almería players have returned to training after their great Spanish Cup victory by knocking Sevilla FC out last weekend. Before learning their next opponents in the Cup tournament, CD Leganés were drawn to the Rojiblancos, they exercised on the Anexo to focus fully on the LaLiga Hypermotion resumption. Córdoba CF are hosting UD Almería this Sunday for a 2pm kick-off against the current leaders as the second half of the season begins.

After two days off, the team's activity is in full swing with co-captain Lucas Robertone training. The Argentinean has just been given the all clear by the Club's medical services after undergoing surgery on 4 October for a left shoulder dislocation. The midfielder is available for selection, although logically he lacks competition fitness. Fernando has also trained at a lower intensity.

In addition, Luis Suárez and Leo Baptistao have not taken part in the session for personal matters and with permission from the Club. Neither did Gui Guedes and Baba, although the pair are still working their way back to full fitness after undergoing surgery. Both the Colombian and the Brazilian will rejoin the group this Thursday.

For the match in Córdoba against unbeaten opponents on home turf, in addition to the two absences mentioned, Gonzalo Melero will not be there either, as he will serve a one-match suspension due to the accumulation of yellow cards.

Starting this Thursday, UD Almería will train behind closed doors to prepare themselves tactically for the meeting at the Nuevo Arcángel stadium in the city of Córdoba.
