Lucas Robertone begins his recovery journey

The Argentinean midfielder, who underwent surgery on 4th October for a left shoulder dislocation, has been resting for three weeks and has now begun to do work-outs in the gym. The squad focus on upcoming SD Huesca match

UD Almería midfielder Lucas Robertone has been the highlight of this Friday's training since the Argentinean has joined his team-mates to attend the head coach's usual talk before starting the session.

The 27-year-old footballer underwent surgery on 4th October for a left shoulder dislocation and after spending three weeks in absolute rest, the recovery process has already begun under the supervision of the Club's medical services. He is doing low-impact exercises at the gym. After the surgery, a leave of approximately three months was set, so the player will remain on the treatment table until January 2025.

The UD Almería squad members trained on the Anexo ground after Thursday's vital victory against Albacete Balompié, a session that has been more of an active recovery for those players who got the most minutes in their legs and more intense for the others.

This Saturday, there will be a new football practice delivered at the Stadium, also behind closed doors. On Sunday morning, the UD Almería travelling squad will fly charter to Huesca.
