Lucas Robertone, a high-quality midfielder coming all the way from Argentina

The native of South America player moves from Buenos Aires-based Vélez Sarsfield on a five-year deal

Almería continue to strengthen the first-team squad for the current 2020/21 season. In this sense, the club have just completed the signing of Argentinian Lucas Robertone, a high-quality, talented midfielder who was sought-after by some top-flight clubs, yet he has finally signed for UD Almeria. The player moves on a five-year deal with the Andalusian club so that he is definitely a sure bet for the team’s present and future.

Robertone, 23 years old, comes from Buenos Aires-based club Vélez Sarsfield, where he eventually made the leap to the first-team from the lower ranks. He played more than 60 games for the senior team in recent seasons taking his tally to twelve goals and five assists.

Lucas Gastón Robertone was born on 18th March, 1997 in the Argentinian city of Concordia. He is a right-footed player, 1,73 metres tall, whose attributes are quality and tactical awareness. He also handles the ball outstandingly and his main position is attacking midfield.
