Lots of interesting news… and absences in the squad list

César de la Hoz and Petrovic have been called up once more. Fran Villalba and Barbero included in the Almeria’s squad list for the first time ever. Almeria heading off to Soria

There are plenty of interesting news in the Almeria’s next call-up to the game against Numancia this Sunday in Soria (6.15 p.m; Los Pajaritos Stadium), but at the same time, there are also numerous absences in the José María Gutierrez’s squad. César de la Hoz, after serving penalty, and Petrovic, fully recovered from his injury, return to the squad list. The latest signings Fran Villalba and Barbero have received their very first call-up to the next game as rojiblancos. 

On the contrary, the head coach will not be able to count on Darwin Núñez and Vada as they have been handed one-match suspension. Corpas, Coric and Juan Ibiza will be out of action due to injury. Apart from that, the last two signings made in the January transfer window are not available: Francis Guerrero and Enzo, who have not yet trained with the team. 

The rojiblancos participated in one last behind closed doors training, in the Juegos Mediterraneos Stadium. The squad will travel on a regular flight to Madrid at 6.20 p.m. and then continue their journey on the road to Soria. 

The players who have been called up by José María Gutiérrez are the following: 

Goalkeepers: Sivera (1) and Fernando (13). 

Defenders: Romera (4), Balliu (20), Maras (18), Ozornwafor (22), David Costas (24), Iván Martos (3) and Jonathan Silva (12). 

Midfielders: Aguza (5), César de la Hoz (6), Petrovic (8), Kaptoum (14), Fran Villalba (10), Lazo (16), and Appiah (31). 

Forwards: Juan Muñoz (11), and Barbero (36).
