Blending youth with experience, pace with intelligence and flair with resilience, the Club's latest additions have already shown the qualities that can strengthen both the team and the squad as a whole.

Brian Cipenga

The Congolese winger has been one of the standout performers of the summer. Quick, direct and unpredictable, Cipenga is the type of player capable of unsettling any defence with his pace and dribbling ability. His movement, acceleration and willingness to take on opponents have immediately caught the eye.

He showcased those qualities against Al Nassr FC, producing an exciting first-half display that hinted at what supporters can expect this season. Having recently featured at the FIFA Club World Cup and found the net against England on international duty, Cipenga arrives full of confidence and looks ready to entertain the UD Almería Stadium faithful.

Mikel Vesga

The experienced midfielder needed little time to demonstrate why he was brought to the Club. Intelligent, composed and tactically disciplined, Vesga provides balance in midfield and knows exactly when to press, when to hold his position and how to control the rhythm of a game.

Despite being the latest arrival, he already looks perfectly suited to head coach García Pimienta's ideas. His experience and football intelligence should make him a key figure throughout the campaign.

Álex Sola

Álex Sola has been one of the busiest players throughout pre-season. Constantly driving up and down the right flank, he combines relentless work rate with impressive athleticism and intensity.

The former Granada CF full-back never stops running, offering both defensive security and attacking support. His energy, commitment and determination make him an ideal team-mate and a difficult opponent to face.

Andrej Popović 

The Serbian centre-back has adapted quickly to his first experience in Spanish football. At just 20 years of age, Popović has shown maturity, composure and a solid defensive foundation.

A naturally left-footed defender, he reads the game well, positions himself intelligently and performs the fundamentals of defending with consistency. Playing alongside experienced team-mates will only accelerate his development.

Jorge Pulido

Jorge Pulido has brought exactly what has defined his football career: leadership, competitiveness and defensive reliability. Calm under pressure and outstanding in his positioning, the former SD Huesca captain continues to excel in one-on-one situations and remains a major threat from attacking set-pieces.

His influence also extends to the training ground, where his competitive mentality raises the standards of those around him and helps drive the entire squad forward.

Quim Junyent

Quim Junyent has added creativity, composure and personality to UD Almería's midfield. Comfortable in possession and always looking to combine with teammates, he plays with maturity beyond his years.

Perhaps the biggest surprise has been his competitive edge. Alongside his technical quality, Junyent has shown character and determination, attributes that complement his natural talent and suggest a very bright future.

Several of UD Almería's new arrivals joined the Club as free agents, reflecting the Club's ability to move decisively in a challenging transfer market. Although it has been an unusual pre-season, the early signs are highly encouraging, with each addition appearing well equipped to contribute towards the team's ambitions.

The final addition to the squad is Miguel de la Fuente, a striker who needs little introduction. His reputation has been built on the pitch and he will now look to do the same wearing the UD Almería shirt.
