The 21-year-old forward from Madrid made his league debut against SD Huesca, although he had also previously played some minutes for UD Almería in the Spanish Cup. 'I'm very happy to play in professional football and play a few minutes, which was very important,' said the promising footballer

Lorenzo Sánchez becomes the fifth UD Almería 'B' player to debut this season with the UD Almería first team in LaLiga Hypermotion, although he was also previously lined up in the Spanish Cup, making his debut in the first round of the tournament in San Sebastian de los Reyes.

'I'm very happy to play in professional football and play a few minutes that were crucial because the team were trying to get the goal that would give them victory,'  Lorenzo stated on UDA Radio, the Club's official radio station.

'I wasn't that nervous. I was willing to contribute as much as possible and with responsibility. I had the strong support of the coaching staff and the players. We deserved to win because we outplayed them and we created chances, but at least the team remain leaders, which is what matters,' he added.

Rubi has helped six UD Almería 'B' youngsters debut in the Spanish Cup and league this season, which is very significant. Most of them are training regularly with the first team.

Valen, Gui Guedes, Quintanilla, Perovic and Lorenzo have played in the league. In addition, the last four were also lined up in the tournament, in which Bruno Iribarne made his debut, starting in San Sebastián de los Reyes. Nor should we forget that Rachad, who debuted last season in the Primera division, played his first match as a starter this year against CD Castellón.
