Pedro Fidel and Joan named in UD Almería squad first time ever
Melero and Lopy are renamed in the team roster. Arnau Puigmal finally joins the UD Almería travelling squad. Chumi and Selvi sit out this fixture in Gijón, in addition to Baba, Gui Guedes and Rachad who remain on the treatment table
Dion Lopy and Gonzalo Melero have been renamed in UD Almería's squad list against Real Sporting de Gijón. The match will be played this Saturday at the El Molinón-Enrique Castro 'Quini' Stadium (Matchday 28) Kick off is at 9pm Spanish Time.
The Senegalese midfielder is available again after serving a one-match suspension, while the Madrid-born player has recovered from his discomfort. Under-19 centre-back Pedro Miguel has also been named in the squad list for the first time, as well as UDA 'B' team player Joan, who is training regularly with the first team members.
Rubi has counted on them due to the injuries, the most recent being Chumi, injured in training last Thursday, and Selvi, who in his debut against Elche CF was sent off following two yellow cards. Baba, Gui Guedes and Rachad remain on the treatment table. The squad held the last training session on Friday and this Saturday, at 9:45am, they travelled by charter flight to the Asturias airport, and then continue by road to Gijón.
