Dion Lopy is back into the fold after international duty
The midfielder has rejoined his team-mates in training after playing for the Senegal squad. There will be behind-closed-doors sessions conducted as from this Thursday
UD Almería midfielder Dion Lopy is back into the fold as he has just returned after being away on international duty with the Senegal squad.
First, the Senegalese has been exercising alone before joining up with the group. The same has happened with Edgar. Both have been the highlight of UD Almería's Wednesday preparation ahead of this Sunday's appointment in Girona.
The Rojiblancos have completed their third practice on the Anexo training pitch and there are still many more behind-closed-doors sessions to continue gearing up for this weekend's trip.
This Wednesday, 6 UD Almería 'B' prospects have been following Gaizka Garitano's instructions: centre-backs Paco Sanz and Varó, full-backs Peñalver and Aarón, as well as midfielders Antonio Jesús Cantón and Marcos Peñas.
Moreover, Melero continues progressing by working out on the sidelines, while Mendes and Akieme are still working their way back to full recovery. The first of them returned from the Guinea Bissau training camp due to an ankle issue, whereas the second left last Monday's preparation due to some thigh discomfort.
On the other hand, UD Almería are waiting for the arrival, in the next few hours, of central defender César Montes, who has also been with his national team, México.
