Lopy returns to UD Almería squad for resumed match against AD Ceuta FC

The Senegalese midfielder is available after his one-game suspension. Nico Melamed, Robertone and Chumi will sit out the fixture

Dion Lopy is the key addition to UD Almería's squad list for Wednesday's rescheduled match against AD Ceuta FC at 7pm (CET). The fixture, originally scheduled for Matchday 13, was suspended at half-time with the score at 1-1, following the tragic death of a Ceutí spectator in the stands of the Alfonso Murube Stadium. The second half will now be played to allow both teams to continue their league campaigns.

Lopy returns after serving a one-match suspension but will play with an existing yellow card, which he received during the first half of the previous encounter. However, several key players will not feature. Nico Melamed, who missed the recent match against CD Leganés, Lucas Robertone, who is still dealing with muscle discomfort and Chumi, who continues his recovery from injury, have all been left out of the travelling squad.

The Rojiblancos completed their final training session this morning behind closed doors at the UD Almería Stadium. Later in the day, the squad flew by charter to Tetouan, Morocco, before making their way by road to Ceuta for the match.
