Lopy extends UD Almería contract until June 2030

The Senegalese midfielder, who joined the Club in the summer of 2023 on a 6-year deal, has agreed a 1-year extension that will keep him at UD Almería until 2030

Dion Lopy has extended his contract with UD Almería until June 2030, reinforcing the Club's long-term commitment to one of the team's key players.

The Senegalese midfielder arrived at UD Almería in the summer of 2023 from Stade de Reims, signing an initial 6-year deal that was due to expire in 2029. The new agreement adds a further year, keeping him at the Club until 2030.

Since joining the Rojiblancos ahead of the 2023/24 campaign, Lopy has established himself as an indispensable member of the squad thanks to his consistency, athleticism and outstanding qualities in midfield. He became a regular starter from the outset, making 30 appearances during his first season in LaLiga.

Now entering his 4th campaign with UD Almería, Lopy has already made 105 official appearances in the red and white shirt. With his future secured until 2030, the midfielder will continue to play a central role in the Club's ambitions over the coming years.
