Baptistão returns to UD Almería squad

The Brazilian forward is back available after serving a one-game suspension as head coach Rubi names 24-man travelling squad for CD Castellón fixture

Léo Baptistão is the standout inclusion in UD Almería’s squad for Thursday’s fixture against CD Castellón, scheduled for 8pm CET at the SkyFi Castalia stadium.

The Brazilian attacker returns to availability after serving a one-match suspension following his red card in Huesca. However, he remains one booking away from another ban, having accumulated four yellow cards. Gui Guedes and Lopy are in the same situation.

UD Almería have just one absentee for this Matchday 33 fixture, with the Portuguese midfielder still recovering from injury. Head coach Rubi has already indicated he could return for the upcoming match against Racing de Santander.

Rubi has named a 24-man travelling squad for the trip to Castellón, meaning one player will be left out of the final Matchday selection.
