Léo Baptistão takes in the new threads

The Brazilian winger has trained under Rubi's instructions for the first time as a Rojiblanco to get ready for his return to the Spanish league

The wait is nearly over! UD Almería are now facing the final stretch of the training week that ends this Sunday, 14 August with their season-opener on home turf against Real Madrid CF (KO 10pm Spain Time).

Léo Baptistão has been the highlight of Friday’s training as the Brazilian has already

exercised with his new team-mates in Almeria. He is the second top-tier experienced arrival following goalkeeper Fernando Pacheco, who joined the squad last Thursday. The Rojiblancos have welcomed their new peers and have trained, behind closed doors, on the Anexo Power Horse training ground, where not only they focused on tactics but also strategy thinking about the season-opener against the Merengues.

There will be another behind-closed-doors session to be conducted this Saturday at the Power Horse Stadium which will soon host reigning LaLiga Santander champions Real Madrid CF.
