Leo Baptistao discharged from hospital

The UD Almería player left the hospital around 1am. All the tests he underwent were clear

UD Almería player Leo Baptistao, who had to be transferred to a hospital after fainting and losing consciousness during the match at the Reino de León Stadium, was discharged around 1am. He will travel with the team to Almería city on Monday.

All the tests the Brazilian underwent were clear, including X-rays and a CT scan. Therefore, after remaining under observation for a reasonable period, it was decided to take him to the team hotel, accompanied by Dr Sebastián Jiménez, head of the Club's medical services and Pedro Serrano, also a member of the medical team.

As reported, Baptistao suffered a fall in the 60th minute of the match between UD Almería and Cultural y Deportiva Leonesa. The forward was treated on the pitch and as he was getting up, collapsed and lost consciousness and was taken to the hospital with a concussion diagnosis.
