Left-winger Lazo is now back on the pitch in good spirits

The Rojiblancos prepare themselves ahead of Thursday’s home game against Alcorcón, a team that have the best away form this season

José Carlos Lazo has been in the limelight today. The thing is that he is back on his feet and has been training along with his team-mates in good spirits and feeling good vibes, so that the left-winger is now fully recovered from the injury he picked up in the match against Albacete, the first match of the championship resumption after season was suddenly halted back in March by the coronavirus pandemic. Nonetheless, it is still early days to know if he will be available or not for the next appointment against AD Alcorcón on Thursday, 25th June. Everything will depend on how he is doing and coping training in the next few hours. Meanwhile, Kaptoum is working with the physiotherapists so as to help the Cameroonian midfielder ensure his injury does not flair up again because of his work with the fitness coaches.

Meanwhile, the first-team Almeria squad are right now focusing on preparing themselves ahead of Thursday's home game. In this sense, they begun to work on specific training and they appear to be determined to beat the team that have the best away form this season, AD Alcorcón. The complicated encounter will be a litmus test for the Rojiblancos, who are looking forward to redeeming themselves after the bitter defeat suffered in their first performance on home turf against Las Palmas after the coronavirus outbreak.

The Rojiblancos exercised at the Anexo training ground, where they will meet again this Wednesday before taking on AD Alcorcón.
