Lazo transferred to RCD Espanyol de Barcelona

The player bids farewell to UD Almería after arriving in the past 2019/20 season.

UD Almería, RCD Espanyol de Barcelona and José Carlos Lazo signed this Wednesday the transfer of the Cadiz-born footballer to the Barcelona-based club so his time playing as a Rojiblanco has come to an end.

Lazo was one of the great signings made by UD Almería who moved back in the day from Getafe CF when Turki Alalshikh acquired the Club. During this period of time the 26-year-old has played a total of 113 games including League matches, achieving promotion to the top flight and Copa del Rey games, with a balance of 19 goals and 12 assists.

Lazo travelled to Elche last Sunday, although he did not start. On the first Matchday this season he play against Real Madrid CF, who will now be the next rivals of his new team RCD Espanyol de Barcelona.

UD Almería readily appreciates Lazo's professionalism and total commitment to the Club, in which he has become one of the captains, and at the same time wishes him the best of luck in the future.
