Lazo joins the next 24-player squad list

The Rojiblanco player is now recovered from his injury and is available again. Almería are flying charter on Sunday

José Carlos Lazo, who picked up an injury in Albacete on the first match week of the second-tier league after the competition resumed, is now fully recovered and available for the new UD Almería coaching staff. Thus, the backroom staff decided to include him in the team roster for Sunday’s fixture (5 p.m.), against mid-table Mirandés at the Anduva Stadium. Fernando Santos ‘Nandinho’’s team joined preparations along with the first team footballers.

The left-winger appears to be fully fit and ready to get off to join the 24-player squad list, so before the game kicks off, it will be necessary to leave one player out since only twenty-three footballers can be registered in the referee's score sheet. In this way, the only one who has been left out has been Kaptoum, who has begun to work on the pitch, along with some Almeria B players who are training with the first-team.

The Rojiblancos exercised in an afternoon training session at the Juegos Mediterraneos Stadium to prepare themselves ahead of the next away game to take place in Anduva. The team will go all out to score the three points. The Almeria first-team are flying charter at 9:30 a.m. to Vitoria and then continue the journey to Miranda de Ebro on the road.

The players included in the squad list are the following:

Goalkeepers: Sivera (1) and Fernando (13).

Defenders: Francis (2), Romera (4), Balliu (20), Juan Ibiza (15), Maras (18), Ozornwafor (22), David Costas (24), Iván Martos (3) and Jonathan Silva (12) .

Midfilders: Aguza (5), César de la Hoz (6), Petrovic (8), Enzo (7), Fran Villalba (10), Coric (19), Vada (23), Lazo (16), Corpas (17) and Appiah (31).

Forwards: Juan Muñoz (11), Darwin Núñez (21) and Iván Barbero (36).
