
Lázaro and Kaiky are back from international duty
The two Brazilian players have done individual ball work and work-outs at the gym after their trip from Morocco. Vicente Moreno recovers footballers ahead of the next league appointment against Villarreal CF
Lázaro and Kaiky are the first UD Almería internationals to rejoin the Rojiblancos in training after being away with Brazil under-23 preparing for the pre-Olympic tournament for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. The two Brazilian footballers did individual ball work on the pitch and later gym work-outs this Tuesday evening. This Wednesday, the two internationals will rejoin group training.
Head coach Vicente Moreno begins to recover players before the resumption of the LaLiga EA Sports, which for the Rojiblancos will be on Sunday in Villarreal (KO 4:15pm CEST). Mendes, who received an international duty call from the Guinea Bissau squad, is expected to join in this Wednesday, while on Baba, Lopy and Koné will do so on Thursday.
Lázaro and Kaiky travelled directly from Morocco, where they played a friendly against the Morocco under-23 last Thursday. Another match to be played in Fez was scheduled for Monday, yet it was called off due to the consequences of the devastating earthquake that had hit Morocco last Friday and the players had experienced as the team hotel where they stayed, located 700km far away from the earthquake epicentre, was evacuated.
The Brazil U23 internationals have trained this Tuesday evening. Previously, in a morning session, the team were following instructions with the presence of 9 UD Almería 'B' youngsters: Bruno Iribarne, Peñalver, Paco Sanz, René, Marcos Peña, Antonio Jesús Cantón, Avelino, Valen and Hugo Neves.
Mr Moreno organised, after the warm-up, a tactical practice with recreation of different match situations lining up two teams on the entire pitch. This Wednesday morning, a third training session will be delivered.
