Lázaro Vinicius returns with more experience and minutes in his legs

The 22-year-old Brazilian has played 36 games for SE Palmeiras in the Série A, the Brazilian Cup, the Copa Libertadores and the Paulista Championship. The Rojiblanco has a contract with UD Almería until June 2028

Lázaro Vinicius is the first addition to the UD Almería squad in the January transfer window. Well, he is actually not a signing, but a return. The versatile footballer has come back with more experience and minutes in his legs clocked up over his loan spell at SE Palmeiras.

UD Almeria signed him in the past 2022/23 season, when he was 20 years old, to play in the Spanish top flight. A radical change he had to face and despite this he finished the campaign with 20 games played (1 in the Spanish Cup) and 6 goals. Last season, before leaving on loan, he featured in 16 games (2 in the Cup tournament) and in February he joined SE Palmeiras in his home country. He played for the São Paulo team 36 times: 19 in Série A (the top tier of Brazilian football), 4 in the Brazilian Cup, 6 in the Copa Libertadores (the Champions of South America) and 7 in the Paulista Championship. Lázaro scored two league goals and gave the same number of assists.

The 22-year-old player has a contract with UD Almería until June 2028 and now returns ready to play a leading role. He is a player of great quality, who can play on both wings as a right and left-winger or even as a centre-forward.
