Lázaro Vinicius shines in Brazil

The UD Almería left-winger, who was loaned out to SE Palmeiras, has just won the Championship Paulista and is immersed in the Copa Libertadores, the 'Champions' of South America

UD Almería left-winger Lázaro Vinicius, who was loaned out to Brazilian side SE Palmeiras last February with an option-to-buy in his deal, shone in Brazil after a few months with an irregular presence and performances in his team. Now, everything has changed and the Rojiblanco is beginning to get more regular starts.

The 22-year-old footballer has just been crowned champion of the Paulista Championship after winning the final against another big Club in Brazil, Santos FC. Lázaro was a starter in the latter match that meant the title for SE Palmeiras, where he has as a team-mate Endrick, signed by Real Madrid CF. Both linked up in the attack with the Argentinian 'FlacoLópez, who has been the top scorer of the tournament.

The Belo Horizonte native has also been starter in the last match played by SE Palmeiras in the Copa Libertadores, the 'Champions' of South America.

The Brazilian footballer arrived at UD Almería, from CR Flamengo in the season 2022/23, in which he featured in 19 league fixtures and 1 Spanish Cup tie, registered 6 goals in the final stretch of the campaign, which was when he had regular starts.

In the current season 2023/24, Lázaro played 16 games (14 in the league and 2 in the Spanish Cup) before leaving on loan to his home country.
