Lázaro Vinicius joins SE Palmeiras on loan for the remainder of campaign

The Brazilian Série A side could exercise an option-to-buy clause next year. Lázaro is the 7th loanee in the January transfer window

UD Almería and Sociedade Esportiva Palmeiras have reached a mutual agreement as Lázaro Vinicius will join the top-tier Campeonato Brasileiro Série A side on loan for the remainder of the campaign.

Furthermore, it is vital to highlight that the Brazilian outfit will have an option-to-buy clause, which can be activated at the opening of the 2025 January transfer window. This has been possible due to the fact that the market is open in the South American championship, this being the Andalusian Club's 7th loanee at this stage after doing so previously with left-back Sergio Akieme transferred to French top-tier Ligue 1 sude Stade de Reims and the loanees Mendes (CD Mirandés), Arnau Puigmal (Elche CF), Marciano (AD Alcorcón), Šviderský (Real Murcia) and Kaiky (Albacete Balompié).

Lázaro Vinicius, who arrived at UD Almería at the beginning of the 2022/23 campaign, has played a total of 33 games as a Rojiblanco, divided into 19, in his first campaign, and 14 in the half season played up to date. He has registered 6 goals, a vital contribution to stay up in the Primera Division in the previous session.

The young footballer is now returning to his native country and will do so on loan, although SE Palmeiras, one of the top clubs in Brazil, will be able to activate an option-to-buy clause.

UD Almería would like to wish Lázaro the best of the luck in his new endeavours and thank him for the total commitment shown during his spell in the UD Almeria squad.
