Last LaLiga fixture to be played at 6:30pm (Spanish Time) this Saturday

We've played at our maximum and we'll do the same against Cádiz CF,' said The UD Almería head coach who also praised the invigorated performance put in by his players for competing well until the end in every game

UD Almería head coach Pepe Mel gave his take on the 2-2 draw with RCD Mallorca. 'It was a very tough game because Mallorca had a lot to play for, we've all had that feeling at some point. We weren't going to give anything away and play at our maximum, which is what we've done. We'll do the same against Cádiz CF.

Later, the Madrid native added: 'Coaching a team that is already relegated is complicated, but we're doing it, we're competing until the end in all the games, the shame is that we haven't had more time to reverse the situation.'

To conclude his post-game press conference with the media, Mr Mel praised the visitors' head coach and assured: 'Javier Aguirre is a great person and a magnificent head coach.'

UD Almería will return from Palma de Mallorca this Monday and will rest until resuming training on Wednesday. LaLiga has brough forward Saturday's game kick-off which, as there is nothing at stake, will be played at 6:30pm local time on Saturday.
