Last effort to end season with victories

The UD Almería first-team have trained this Friday evening with their sights set on Sunday's trip to Mallorca. Edgar exercises with the group

UD Almería are back to training after the match played against FC Barcelona. This Friday's session took place in the Power Horse Stadium, where the Rojiblancos will be training again this Saturday morning before flying out to Palma de Mallorca as this Sunday they will face the penultimate Matchday of the LaLiga EA Sports. It will be the last trip of the 2023/24 season.

The starters against Barça did recovery work-outs in the gym, while the rest of the players exercised with more intensity on the grass. Edgar was one of them, who was sidelined last Thursday due to muscle discomfort. The player has completed part of the session as a prevention. Furthermore, César Montes, who suffered a blow to the ribs in the match against FC Barcelona has been with the physiotherapists. He has undergone medical tests that rule out an injury beyond the discomfort from the bruise.

On the other hand, Ramazani will serve his fifth and final game suspension in Mallorca. Baba, who underwent surgery last Tuesday from appendicitis, will also miss out.

UD Almería are determined to make one last huge effort to try to wrap up the season with victories. They will have to win away from home against RCD Mallorca, who will go all out to secure league safety. A week later, Cádiz CF will be visiting West Andalusia. The Cadistas, depending on the results this Sunday, will come to Power Horse Stadium in search of league survival.
