UD Barbastro vs UD Almería to be played at 12 noon on 6th December
The Spanish Cup second-round tie has been scheduled and will be played in Huesca city. It will be broadcast live by Movistar+
Fourth-tier UD Barbastro will be UD Almería's next opponents in the Spanish Cup second round. The draw has been held this Wednesday at the RFEF headquarters. The single-legged tie will be played on 5/6/7 December at the Municipal de Deportes de Barbastro on a natural grass pitch located in this Huesca-based town that has a capacity of around 5,000 spectators.
The second-round opponents knocked SD Ponferradina out in the first round of the Spanish tournament (1-0), while CF Talavera de la Reina exited the Spanish Cup at the hands of the Rojiblancos (0-2).
UD Barbastro compete in Group II of the fourth-tier Segunda RFEF, currently sitting 12th with 11 points,as a result of two wins, five draws and four losses. Their goal tally registers 9 goals for and 16 against at the moment. Since the arrival of new head coach Dani Martínez, the team has changed their situation for the better.
UD Almería will have to go on a long journey, although the Huesca airport is located only 45 kilometres from Barbastro, which with nearly 20,000 inhabitants is the third most populated town in the province of Huesca and the sixth in all of the Spanish region of Aragon.
