The UD Almería Foundation has started shaping the women's senior team for the 2026/27 season, a landmark campaign that will see the Rojiblancas compete in the third-tier Segunda Federación for the first time in the Club's history.
Following a memorable season that ended with promotion after winning their league and successfully coming through the promotion play-offs, the Club is laying the foundations for a project designed to establish the team in the division while continuing their steady development.
As a first step, UD Almería Women have secured the continuity of the core group that earned promotion. The Club is maintaining its commitment to stability by placing its trust in a squad that has consistently demonstrated quality, dedication and growth over recent seasons.
The following players will continue to wear the red and white strip during the 2026/27 campaign after renewing their commitments with the Club: Marina, Lucía, Andrea, Mireya, Marisa, Esther, Cañadas, Romero, Jessi, Miriam, Cayetana, Paqui, Marta, Gisela, Alba, Blanca and Erika.
