UD Almería demonstrate total support for high speed train arrival in 2026

The Club drew attention to the 'Mediterranean Core Network Corridor' before, during and after the fixture with Valencia CF at the Power Horse Stadium.

UD Almería took advantage of the home match against Valencia CF this Sunday to demonstrate their total support for the ‘Objetivo Almería AVE-Corredor Mediterráneo’ campaign promoted by the Chamber of Commerce which main purpose is the arrival of the AVE [high speed train] to Almería in 2026.

The UD Almeria starting XI squad walked out onto the pitch wearing T-shirts reading: ‘Objetivo Almería AVE - Corredor Mediterráneo 2026’ [Mediterranean Core Network Corridor] and posed next to a banner with the same message. In addition, videos were screened on the scoreboards and pitch-side LED advertising boards at the Power Horse Stadium.

There was a broad representation of businessmen from Almeria in the Director’s box, including president of the Chamber of Commerce Jerónimo Parra.
