UD Almería 'B' immersed in demanding pre-season campaign
This Sunday, the Academy prospects play their first friendly against Al-Ain U21 at the Pinatar Arena in Murcia (KO 11am Spanish Time)
UD Almería 'B' are now building towards the 2023/24 season with the clear objective of promotion. A long and very demanding pre-season has been organised in which they will have to face tests against rivals, some of them competing in higher tiers.
The youthful Rojiblancos, once they got their medicals done, began training last Wednesday evening and will continue to put in the off-season grind during the first week until Sunday's friendly against Al-Ain U21 (KO 11am) at the Pinatar Arena in Murcia. This will be the first friendly of the nine scheduled to be played in the months of July, August and September.
Alberto Lasarte's squad is very close to be complete; 80% of the youngsters who have moved up from UD Almería U19 'A' to the 'B' team will be joined by the three experienced summer signings Luis Lara, Miguel Peña and Antonio Jesús.
