UD Almería 'B' eager to remain undefeated

The Academy graduates face UDC Torredonjimeno at 7pm local time on Sunday (Matchday 3) with the aim of extending their winning ways

UD Almería 'B' are going on a tough-looking trip this Sunday for a 7pm local time kick-off against UD Ciudad Torredonjimeno at the Matías Prats stadium. The travelling Academy graduates are looking to remain undefeated in the league since they have played two games to date; they shared the spoils with Atlético Malagueño in a goalless stalemate first (0-0) and in the second fixture, a 2-1 victory was celebrated in the derby against Almeria-based rivals Poli Almería.

Alberto Lasarte's boys sit 7th in the standings level on points (4) with next rivals UDC Torredonjimeno. It is always a daunting task to beat them since they know the tier perfectly and they make things difficult for their opponents on home soil. Last season, the outfit from Jaen finished ahead of the team from Almería in 8th position and according to the head-to-head stats, the youthful Rojiblancos clinched four victories, both sides achieved five draws and two wins were wrapped up by the lads from Torredonjimeno.

It will be a match in which Alberto Lasarte's boys will have to pull their socks up to remain undefeated, something essential since there are many UD Almería 'B' youngsters who are new to this division.
