UD Almería Foundation joins LaLiga Genuine for exciting new season
The Rojiblancos are set to compete against top clubs in inclusive tournament in Tarragona
The UD Almería Foundation is once again taking part in the LaLiga Genuine Moeve, which kicked off in Tarragona with an action-packed opening ceremony at the Nou Estadi Costa Daurada. This marks the 8th edition of the tournament, a unique competition that champions the values of inclusive football.
UD Almería’s players, full of enthusiasm, will face Real Oviedo, Real Madrid CF, and Deportivo Alavés in the tournament's initial phase. The event brings together 50 teams this season, including newcomers CD Mirandés, Cultural y Deportiva Leonesa and AD Ceuta FC.
As always, LaLiga Genuine Moeve celebrates the spirit of genuine football, offering a platform for players with intellectual disabilities to showcase their skills in a fun, supportive environment.
Over a thousand participants, including players, coaches and staff, gathered for the opening festivities, marking the beginning of an unforgettable competition. The tournament will unfold in multiple phases, with each group aiming to deliver both sporting excellence and an atmosphere of inclusivity.
