UD Almería fan zone goes on tour across city
UD Las Palmas clash brings Matchday atmosphere to the Port of Almería
UD Almería’s fan zone has gone mobile, taking the Club’s Matchday entertainment beyond the Stadium and into different parts of the city as part of the 'Let’s Do It Again' campaign.
Usually based at the UD Almería Stadium on home Matchdays, the fan zone was moved to the newly restored warehouse at the Port of Almería on the eve of the fixture against UD Las Palmas. The initiative aimed to build excitement among both local residents and supporters ahead of what will be the team’s penultimate home game of the season.
Among the attractions were human table football, a giant target challenge and small-sided games across 3 temporary pitches, all set against the striking backdrop of the renovated port venue.
Located on Muelle de Ribera I, the restored 2,600-square-metre structure has been recovered as part of the city’s port heritage and transformed into a leisure space under the new Port-City concept. The venue’s modern lighting system also lit the building in UD Almería’s red and white colours for the occasion.
The event, branded as Fan Day at the Port, was organised through collaboration between the Port Authority of Almería, Almería City Council, La Voz de Almería newspaper and Cadena SER radio station, alongside the Club and its sponsors.
A similar event had previously been staged at Centro Comercial Torrecárdenas shopping mall as the Club continues to bring its pre-match atmosphere to fans across the city.
