The Rojiblancos return to Almería this Saturday

The squad will undergo an active recovery training session as soon as they arrive home. Starting Tuesday, they will begin preparing for the 'final' against Racing de Santander

UD Almería spent the night in Cádiz after the match at the Nuevo Mirandilla Stadium and will return to Almería this Saturday. They will do so on a charter flight, via Jérez and will head to UD Almería Stadium as soon as they arrive at the airport to carry out an active recovery training session.

The team have played the Matchday 39 opening fixture and will practically close out the Matchday 40 next Sunday when they host Racing de Santander.

It will be a long week and therefore the squad will have two days off, Sunday and Monday. On Tuesday, UD Almería will begin preparing for this vital match against in-form direct rivals. There will be 5 training sessions in total to try to show the strength and might they have shown at home, although the absences due to the dismissals will be a real handicap. UD Almería will now have to wait for the RFEF competition committee's decision.
