Fans turn out in force to see UD Almería off to Málaga

Rubi has named every available first-team player in the travelling squad, along with the UD Almería 'B' youngsters involved with the senior set-up, as 27 players make the trip for the first leg of the promotion play-off final

27 players have been included in UD Almería’s squad for Sunday’s first leg of the promotion play-off final against Málaga CF, which kicks off at 9pm Spanish Time at La Rosaleda stadium.

Head coach Rubi has decided to take every available member of the first-team squad, including the 'B' team players who have been training regularly with the senior side.

The only player unavailable remains André Horta, who is continuing his recovery from the muscle injury he suffered in the penultimate match of the regular league season.

The Rojiblancos completed their final training session on Saturday morning before travelling to Málaga by road later in the day. As the Rojiblancos departed the UD Almería Stadium, a large crowd of fans gathered to give the squad a memorable send-off ahead of the crucial encounter.
