Bruno Langa: 'The UD Almería fans are always with us and will help us this Monday'
The UD Almería defender warns on UDA Radio of 'the difficulty of Elche CF game' and recognises: 'The team know that we must start the games better.' The defender is amazed at the Spanish second-tier level
The UD Almería squad members live in a tense calm according to the words of one of the players, Bruno Langa, who has assured in an interview on UDA Radio: 'The week is being just as demanding as when we didn't lose in 14 games.'
The Mozambican full-back praises next rivals Elche CF: 'They're a very good team with great players like us. We're aware that to win we'll have to fight a lot, as we did in the first half of the season fixture against them.'
Despite playing during the week, Langa feels that UD Almería will not be alone: 'The UD Almería fans are always with us for us and I know that they'll help us on Monday because we need them.' The 4 matches without a W have not diminished the morale of the troops: 'They're normal things in football and when the streak changes, you can only work harder to make it change again. Of course our confidence hasn't worsened and we're working hard, and well, to achieve victory,' he expressed.
As for the Elicitanos, the defender is clear about the key: 'Fight, fight and fight and whoever plays, we have to achieve it as a team because we're aware of the importance of the next game.' He has also acknowledged: 'We're struggling more in the first halves and we want to change that as soon as possible.'
The 27-year-old footballer has had to do an intensive Spanish course both in terms of the language and his football: 'This League is really difficult and it doesn't matter who the rival is and who the match is against because if you don't work as hard as you can, you don't get results. I don't think there are many differences between the top and the second tier. You win a game and you're up; lose a game and you're down,' he commented on the official radio station.
The defender recognises what has surprised him the most since his arrival: 'The fans in all the cities. It's something incredible and I really like it.' In this interview, he also referred to his role in the Mozambique squad, his role within the UD Almería squad and his relationship with his team-mates.
